Summer SMART Club at Auxilium Youth Animation Centre, Dahanu

The three-day Summer SMART Club was held at the Auxilium Youth Animation Centre, Dahanu, from April 18-20, 2017, with girls showing exceptional participation and excellence. Children from Class V to IX attended the camp daily. Support was provided by the President of the Lions Club, Dahanu, Mr. Dinesh Rao, other members, the President of the Rotary Club, Ms. Monicka Maullick, young Parish Church volunteers, and tuition teachers. The program components, framed by the acronym SMART, focused on: Smarter with Yoga; Music and songs; Art, painting, and General Knowledge (GK); Race on Dahanu beach; and Time out on the campground. Sr. Joanita Antao inaugurated the club, encouraging the children to engage in physical activities for their well-being. Sr. Teresa Joseph, Ms. Daksha Jadhav, and Sir Shiv Darshan Valli contributed their talents through short talks, demonstrations, and spot prizes to promote better health and growth. Sr. Lavita Vaz and Master Rohit Patel conducted the General Knowledge Quiz Competition. During the certificate distribution ceremony, Ms. Maullick provided simple tips on self-improvement, leadership values, and the characteristics of being SMART.
