Our Mission & Vision
SAHAYINI SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT SOCIETY is a non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to empowering marginalized communities especially children, adolescent girls, and women by providing access to education, welfare services, and sustainable development opportunities. Rooted in compassion and guided by the values of justice, solidarity, gender equality, and professionalism, Sahayini works to foster integral human development through its various outreach initiatives.
Founded in 2012 as the official social development wing of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (FMA) also known as the Salesian Sisters of Don Bosco, Province of Mumbai Sahayini operates 17 outreach centers across Goa, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Maharashtra. Through these centers, the organization touches lives by offering holistic, educative, and life-sustaining interventions.
We envision a society where children, youth, and women are empowered to live as dignified, active citizens enjoying their rights, sustaining the ecology of the environment, and contributing to a world of solidarity, justice, and peace.
