Summer Camps by MYC, Wadala East and West, and Colaba

Sr. Anita Tairipascu and a volunteer, Mrs. Rajani, conducted Summer Camps from April 13 to May 13 in various areas, including Wadala East, Wadala West, and Colaba Geeta Nagar. They organized various competitions, such as drawing, singing, dance, and essay writing. A large number of children participated and received prizes after each competition. On May 13, 2017, the feast of the Co-foundress St. Mary Domenica Mazzarello, approximately 120 children from all the camps gathered at the Mazzarello Youth Centre - Wadala for a celebration. The program included viewing a movie on Mother Mazzarello and a prayer moment focused on the Saint's life. Sr. Hilda Braganza, the Centre's Animator, welcomed them with a short speech, followed by games. Prizes were awarded to the winners, and snacks were distributed. This initiative provided an enriching experience for the poor and marginalized children in the community.
