Auxilium – Koregaon Park, Pune, organized a fun-filled ten-day Summer Club for children surrounding the Centre from April 18 to 27, 2017. Sr. Phulmani Ekka, along with Sr. Shaila Jadhav (from Auxilium - Wadala), planned and animated the program. They were assisted by volunteers from the Community of Christ Jesus and nursery school teachers. The children were divided into four groups, each with a leader, for activities including making paper flowers, wall hangings, greeting cards, games, and singing and dance competitions. All participants actively engaged in these initiatives. On April 26, the Thanksgiving Day, Sr. Gracy Thomas, the Centre's Animator, spoke about World Gratitude Day and the feast of the Mother General. She thanked the children, and prizes and snacks were distributed in honor of Mother Yvonne's feast. Sejal, a participant, thanked the Sisters and Volunteers for the opportunity to meet new friends, learn new things, and develop discipline. The children expressed excitement for the club next year. On April 27, the final day, the children enjoyed a picnic. Sincere gratitude is extended to the sponsors who generously provided food and free transportation for the picnic.
