Educational Kit Distribution for Scholastic Year 2017-18

The annual distribution of educational kits for children, organized by Harihar Putra Bhajan Samaj under the leadership of President Mr. Jayant Lapsia and member Prof. RSS Mani, took place on June 10, 2017. Staff from the Sahayini Development Office accompanied 20 school-going children to Chembur, while Anmol Staff brought 85 children from Koparkhairane, Rabale, Wadala Outreach, and the After Care Home.

A total of 400 children from various NGOs across Mumbai were welcomed by the Samaj. This year, the donors were personally present to distribute the kits. Students who excelled in Std. XII from the Anmol After Care Home were felicitated on stage with token gifts; Alish Barve, one of the recipients, expressed thanks to the Samaj members. Sr. Magdeline Sequeira, the new Director, also conveyed gratitude on behalf of Anmol and all NGOs. Each NGO received a box of chocolates, and every student was given a school bag containing notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, a tiffin box, water bottle, umbrella, scarf, sketch pens, and mathematical drawing instruments. The children left happy and grateful, well-equipped for the new scholastic year.
