Certification Day: Grand Moments for Women of Ahmednagar

This certification ceremony marked a significant milestone for the women and young girls of Gandhi Nagar and Ujini Pimplegoan village in Ahmednagar. The grand ceremony for the distribution of certificates took place on April 4 and 14, 2018. Three groups successfully completed the Beauty Parlour Course, and one group completed the Tailoring Course. The Guests of Honour included Officers from Crompton Greaves Co., the Manager of Jan Shikshan Gnyan Sanstha, and Nagar Sevak Mrs. Sunita Bhigardive. Two of the groups received two certificates each—one from Crompton Greaves Co. and one from Jan Shikshan Sanstha—along with a parlour kit or a tailoring kit. Successfully engaging these young women and girls in vocational training was a great achievement. Many expressed profound gratitude and joy, feeling motivated to contribute to their families. The organizers extended thanks to Crompton Greaves Co. and Jan Shikshan Sanstha for providing these essential courses to marginalized communities.
