Nelson Mandela Day Celebration

On July 18, 2017, a group of 20 young members from the Rotract Club organized a Mandela Day celebration for the Mazzarello Youth Centre’s Neighbourhood Children’s Parliament (NCP) and Anmol – Wadala Evening Study Class children. Eighty-six children gathered for the event, which was assisted by the Salesian Sisters and staff. Attendees watched a short documentary on the life of Mr. Nelson Mandela, followed by a related quiz. Several enjoyable games were also conducted. The evening concluded with the distribution of snacks and notebooks.
