Anticipated Raksha Bandhan Celebration

The Auxilium Youth Animation Centre (AYAC) - Dahanu celebrated Raksha Bandhan on August 2, 2017, with 150 youngsters dressed in traditional attire. Sr. Mangal Kolge meticulously organized the event around the central theme of "Protection." This theme was conveyed through speeches, skits, jokes, and dances. The reciprocal exchange of the Rakhi, the sacred thread, highlighted love as the fundamental basis of protection. The group recited Psalm 91, the Psalm of Protection, which set a spiritual tone. Sr. Mariet Luckose, the animator, tied a Rakhi to the teachers, assuring them of the FMA community's commitment to protection. Sr. Teresa Joseph, the day’s speaker, invited the youth to explore the deeper meaning of love as the foundation of protection. The celebration successfully strengthened the bond of love and friendship between the Sisters and the young attendees.
