An exposure visit to the Sadh Guru Foundation, an NGO in Dahod, was organized on August 17, 2017. Fifty women from seven villages gathered at the Pushpanjali Centre โ€“ Dakor for the trip, which was coordinated by Sr. Elphina Rodrigues and the Pushpanjali staff, with gratitude to Sr. Moksha Antonappa, INB Social Development Co-ordinator.

The primary objectives of the visit were to improve the living conditions of rural and tribal people through environmentally sound land and water resource programs, and to curb distress migration. Upon arrival, Mrs. Asmita Seth provided a warm welcome and outlined the day's schedule. Mr. Harnath Jagawat, the Director of Sadh Guru, presented the institute's annual report via video. The second session, led by Mr. Anand Parmar, focused on the importance of Animal Husbandry, detailing the potential income from high-breed buffalo or Jersey cows, including guidance on animal diet and medical aid.

After lunch, the group visited Dadur village. Federation members explained that their programs are driven by various village Institutions and Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) formed for specific activities, such as Irrigation, Horticulture, and Milk Producers Co-operatives, SHG Federations, and Farmersโ€™ Organizations. The visiting women were impressed by the tribal women's hard work and the effective double-crop irrigation techniques. Inspired by this success, the group decided to pursue double-crop cultivation, rearing different buffalo breeds, and establishing milk co-operatives with the assistance of the District Rural Development Office. They returned home committed to working for the betterment of their families and villages.
