Summer Camp at Maria Bhavan, Bableshwar

Maria Bhavan, Bableshwar, organized a ten-day Summer Camp from April 18–27, 2018, attended by approximately 35 children. It was a period filled with fun, learning, and great joy. Each day began with a prayer moment, followed by English language practice (learning new sentences) and a session on general knowledge. Various activities were organized to enhance interpersonal interaction and confidence, including making paper bags, flowers, decorative items, and paper art. Games helped to foster a good sporting spirit. On the 26th, coinciding with the Feast of World Gratitude Day, the children were delighted to prepare ‘Bhel’ in groups, using both their own and provided ingredients. Daily points motivated the participants. On the final day, prizes were chosen from a small 'shop' based on the points accumulated. On the last day, the children thanked the Sisters for their dedication, providing daily snacks, and ensuring they enjoyed every moment. The camp was fruitful, as the community spent valuable time with the children, promoting learning and fun while ensuring their safety.
