Quest Alliance Support Visit and Placement Strategy Meeting

On November 9, 2017, Mr. Kotresh, State Coordinator from Quest Alliance, Bengaluru, visited Sahayini Social Development Centre for a support visit. He met with Sr. Rosaline Pereira and Ms. Tenu Daniel (Quest Alliance coordinator) to discuss placements, topics to be covered, strategies to motivate students in getting a job, software updates, data updates, and training for trainers. He introduced them to Internshala, a website for students to work, learn, and earn. He later interacted with the ITES and Web-Designing students, advising them to be self-learners, independent, positive, and enthusiastic about migrating to improve their experience and skills. Students were asked about their experience at Sahayini and what they had learned that would change their careers. Sr. Rosaline provided input on books referred by Quest Alliance. Mr. Sylvester D’Souza, the Web-Designing trainer, proposed the vote of thanks by singing the song “Thank you Sir”. Mr. Kotresh also discussed the importance of LinkedIn and the information it shares with site visitors.
