Children’s Day and Awareness Program on Participation in Kune

Children’s Day was celebrated in Ashish Bhavan - Kune, on November 14, 2017, with around $90$ children from their school and the Zilla Parishad - Kune School. A meaningful prayer service led by Sr. Carol Nunes invoked God’s blessings on the students. Many games were organized, which the children thoroughly enjoyed. Sr. Vaneeta Khristi animated an awareness programme on Participation and Decision-making. She spoke on the benefits of whole-hearted participation and the advantages and disadvantages of decision-making, emphasizing self-belief and the significance of working in a team. This was explained through acting and video clips. Sr. Teresa Dharmaraj, Animator of the Centre, appreciated all the children and rewarded them with gifts. Each child was given a chocolate, fruity, and chips.
