Children’s Day Celebration and Rights Session in Savedi

On November 12, 2017, the Sisters of Laura Vicuna Niwas - Savedi celebrated Children’s Day for the Neighbourhood Children's Parliament (NCP) and tuition class children from different villages. The celebration began at 10:00 AM with games, followed by a cultural program, with around $130$ children participating. Sr. Teresa Plathara (Animator) and Sr. Annette Nellianil were present. A group of friends generously sponsored a delicious meal. The children enjoyed all the games and prizes. The Chief Guest was Sr. Moksha Anthonappa, the Province Social Development Coordinator (SDC), who takes great interest in the mission. Sr. Moksha conducted a session on the rights of children and expressed her delight at seeing so many children.
