Children’s Day Celebration for Crompton Greaves Project Schools

Children’s Day for the five schools of the Crompton Greaves (CG) Project – Ahmednagar was celebrated on November 25, 2017, at Nagapur School with great enthusiasm. The children enjoyed indoor and outdoor games and many received prizes. The cultural programme featured dances, a skit on the Girl Child, and songs. Mrs. Vijaya Kedari, Social Work Coordinator – CG, spoke about the importance of the day and how children should spend their childhood. Volunteers from the Snehalaya Group discussed Children’s Rights and were happy to participate in the games with the children and staff. Each child received a piece of fruit before leaving for home.
