Seminar on Gender Stereotypes for Web-Designing Students

On December 16, 2017, Ms. Kejal Savla (Co-Convener, Connecting Communities) from the NGO "The Blue-Ribbon Movement" conducted a half-day seminar on Gender Stereotypes for Web-Designing students. The seminar started with an icebreaker known as Energy Transplant. Topics covered included: What are gender roles? How do gender stereotypes affect people? How does one fight gender stereotypes? An activity was done to encourage students to learn about themselves and the other gender. Students were asked to share information about the seminar with friends and parents at home to promote a positive discussion on gender stereotypes for the betterment of society.
