• Welcoming Children
On 1st June the Joyful learning classes began in the Auxilium Centre & the village. It was nice to see the 43 children entering in the class after long holidays.
• International Yoga Day
International Yoga Day was celebrated on 30th June 2026 at Auxilium Convent for our Joyful learning class children. The program began with a short prayer and a brief introduction highlighting the significance of Yoga in promoting physical, mental and emotional well-being. Children were made aware about the importance and benefits of yoga. Yoga keeps our body and mind healthy and cures much disease. The session encouraged the students to adopt a healthy lifestyle and practice yoga regularly to improve concentration, flexibility and inner peace. The celebration was significant, refreshing and helpful for all the participants.
• Visit to the Nursery
On 2nd July 2026, the children of the Joyful learning class from Auxilium Convent visited the Forest Nursery. The team submitted the required letter to the forest department and received saplings for planting. The forest department officials shared valuable information about the importance of trees, environmental conservation and proper plant care. The visit was informative and inspired the children to protect and care for nature.
• Kitchen Garden
On 7th July 2026 the children of the Joyful Learning Class at Auxilium Convent participated in a kitchen Garden Plantation. The plantation began with an awareness talk on the importance of Kitchen garden and how it helps the families grow fresh, healthy vegetables while caring for the environment. The children actively levelled the ground, prepared the soil, and planted seeds with great enthusiasm. The activity encouraged teamwork, responsibility and love for nature. It was an enjoyable and meaningful learning experience for all.
• Feast of St. Mary Mazzarello
The Feast of St. Mary Mazzarello was joyfully celebrated on 13th July 2026 with the Junior Hostel girls and the children of the Evening Joyful Learning Tuition Class. The programme began with a prayer dance, followed by a welcome dance. The life of St. Mary Mazzarello was beautifully highlighted through a skit performance, inspiring everyone to imitate her virtues. A cultural dance added color and joy to the celebration. Rev. Sr. Latha Arogra addressed the children, explaining the importance of St. Mary Mazzarello's virtues. She encouraged them to respect their parents, study well, and grow into good and responsible children. The celebration concluded with the distribution of snacks. The children participated enthusiastically and returned home with happy hearts.
• Self-Introduction Competition
A Self-Introduction Competition was held at Auxilium School, Nandgad, on 24th July 2026 for the Nursery, LKG, and UKG students. Sr. Lorina Bandya was invited as the judge and was warmly welcomed with a bouquet of flowers. Around 65 children participated in the competition. Each child came forward with confidence and tried their best to introduce themselves. It was a joyful experience to watch the little children smiling, crying, dancing, and making the whole place lively with their innocence. At the end, Sr. Lorina Bandya congratulated all the young participants for their courage and appreciated their efforts. The Principal, Sr. Jyothi Pinto thanked the teachers, students, and everyone who helped make the programme a success. It was a wonderful and memorable experience for all.
• Exposure Visit to the Forest Department
On 24th July, the Joyful Learning Class organized an exposure visit to the Forest Department Nursery in Nandgad. A total of 10 children and the Sisters participated in the visit. A request letter was submitted to the Forest Department office to receive fruit plants for the children. The department generously provided 10 guava plants. The children were happy to visit the nursery, where they learned about different types of plants and the importance of protecting the environment. It was a meaningful and education for all.
• Tree Plantation Drive
On 25th July, a Tree Plantation Drive was organized near Hatti village, Nandgad. The children enthusiastically participated in planting saplings to make the surroundings greener and healthier. During the activity, they were encouraged to care for nature and understand the importance of protecting the environment. A meaningful message was given to the children that every tree planted today is a gift for future generations and that each one has the responsibility to protect and nurture the trees. The program helped create environmental awareness and inspired the children to love and care for nature.
