An Orientation Meeting was conducted by Sahayini Social Development Society for the Local Coordinators and Teachers at Dahanu. The following topics were dealt with during the orientation meeting by way of talks, group discussions and interactions.
1. Self Help Groups (SHGs)
2. Neighbourhood Childrenā€™s Parliament (NCP)
3. Joyful Learning Classes
4. Farmersā€™ Groups
5. Federation
Sr. Mangal gave practical insight to the participants for the smooth running of the Social Ministry and the short notes from the National Development Forum (NDF) meeting held at Kolkata was transmitted to the participants. Sr. Mangal K asked the participants to carry out some tasks in the months to follow.
Finally, the Action Plan, Yearly Planner and the Monthly Planner were discussed and finalized. Materials (stationery) was distributed by the SDO to all the Centres.
