Women's Day Celebration (2025)— Women: Rays of Hope

Sahayini, with the support of social work coordinators, staff, and volunteers, organized a grand Women's Day celebration that brought together around 400 women from Goa, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Dadra Nagar Haveli. The theme “Women: Rays of Hope” was highlighted through inspiring speeches, cultural programs, and recognition of women leaders.

Sr. Meenakshi D'silva, President of Sahayini, encouraged women to value education for themselves and their children, while Inspector Anita Vitthal Ithubone, Guest of Honour, stressed the importance of empowering girls through education. Women from different regions performed cultural programs reflecting the theme. Outstanding leaders of self-help groups, impactful SHGs, and entrepreneur women were felicitated with trophies. Sahayini honoured these women to encourage and empower their leadership qualities that can shape society at large. Every woman also received a token gift from the organization.

The event left a strong impact, fostering confidence, unity, and empowerment among women, affirming their vital role as agents of hope and change in society.
