📅 July 10, 2018 • 📍 DAHANU
On July 10, 2018, students of the General Duty Assistance (GDA) course hosted a welcome programme for the community of the Auxilium Youth Animation Centre (AYAC), characterized by fun and joy. The event began with the lighting of a lamp, symbolizing God’s presence, led by Sr. Mariet Luckose, the Animator, who set a positive tone for the day. The prayer service was well-prepared, featuring readings from the Bhagavad Gita and the Holy Bible, emphasizing knowledge leading to light. The programme's theme was “Beatitudes Lead to Holiness.” Sisters and students were introduced in creative ways, formally welcoming everyone to the GDA Skill Training. Students performed the Tarpa, a traditional tribal dance. Sr. Mariet encouraged the students to work diligently to earn their livelihood. The students presented the Sisters with a welcome card and small saplings. The atmosphere was filled with joy and laughter. The participants pledged to work together for a better future, and the program concluded with a short prayer.
