Mullanche Sourakshan (Child Protection) program at Oros

📅 November 21, 2015 • 📍 Oros

Many children arrived from different villages around 9:30 a.m. on November 21, 2015, for a special program celebrating Children’s Day. After a warm welcome and a short prayer, children were made aware of child protection through various posters displayed in the hall. In the afternoon, Mr. Umesh More, the Zilla Bal Sourakshan Officer, was welcomed in traditional Maharashtrian style. Children performed a skit on the theme, "Mullanche Sourakshan" (Child Protection). The guest spoke on the theme, emphasizing self-protection, child labor, and the importance of education. He encouraged the children to participate in various programs to learn more about Child Rights. He expressed his happiness that Auxilium Girls’ Promotion Centre – Oros was doing so much for the village children. The children enjoyed the day, which included practical knowledge, snacks, games, prizes, and a good lunch, and returned home in the evening with thanks.
