📅 January 18, 2016 • 📍 Wadala

The new year 2016 marked a milestone for Anmol Home for Girls with the marriages of two of the residents, solemnized according to their respective cultures and religions. Padma Lokesh wed Madhu Siddiraj on January 18 at Shankaralay Temple in Chembur, followed by a reception at Auxilium Campus – Wadala. Cecilia Laksh and Satyaraj were married at St. Francis De Sales Church - Koparkhairane on January 21 at 11:30 a.m., followed by a reception in the church hall. Padma and Laksh were cared for at Anmol for many years, receiving basic education, skill training, and valuable certificates to secure suitable jobs. Sr. Moksha and the Sisters of Anmol were thanked for their hard work in helping these young girls settle down. A good number of Sisters, friends, and well-wishers graced the ceremonies. Special thanks were given to all generous benefactors, particularly the parishioners of Koparkhairane for their amazing support, and to the Provincial, Sr. Ritha Dora Thomas, and her council for their wholehearted support. Both couples were wished God’s choicest blessings for a happy married life.
