A refreshing summer club in Baroda

The Summer Club commenced on the morning of April 9, 2016, with children arriving at the Auxilium campus. It began with a short prayer service and a talk by Sr. Salome D’Souza, the animator. Recalling the words of Don Bosco, the children were encouraged to "run, jump and play, but don’t sin," and Dominic Savio was presented as a role model. The month-long program included the NCP and involved about 50 boys and girls, including students from other schools in Baroda. It featured lively games, arts and crafts, various competitions with prizes, outings, fun, relaxation, snacks, and a happy celebration of ‘Mother’s Day.’ On the feast of St. Mary Mazzarello, the children thanked Sr. Salome, and Sr. Rita Lobo paid them a visit. The Refreshing Summer Club concluded on May 14.
