On September 11, 2016, Ashish Bhavan - Kune celebrated Girl Child Day with 42 girls in attendance. The program began with a prayer moment and the lighting of the lamp, followed by a welcome to the girls and the resource person, Sr. Magdeline Sequeira, Social Development Co-ordinator. Sr. Magdeline conducted a session on the Child Protection Policy, including a video presentation and subsequent discussion on the topic. Before departing, the children received an attractive gift and snacks.
