On September 6, 2016, a skit and rally were organized at the Municipal School of Ghora village to promote the 'Save the Girl Child' initiative. The event began with the skit, attended by Mr. Jagdishbhai (Staff member of the Child Protection Centre), the local School Principal, and MSW students. The significance of Girl Child Day was explained to the gathering. Following the skit, a 'Save the Girl Child' rally was held, in which all school students participated enthusiastically. The next day, a rally focusing on Cleanliness, Mother's Health, and 'Save the Girl Child' was held in Meghva village, honored by the presence of Mrs. Jayaben, the Sarpanch. The group assembled at the school compound with local students and invited members, including Mrs. Sunitaben (KSSS Co-ordinator), Bhanuben (KSSS Staff member), and Child Protection Committee members. The group, accompanied by Sr. Christina Galus, school teachers, and social work staff Sangitaben and Nancyben, marched throughout Meghva village, carrying posters, shouting slogans, and giving short talks on Mother’s health and Child Protection. After a brief meeting and snacks, the team proceeded to Vansol village for a VDC & CPC meeting. Additionally, on October 19, 2016, Sr. Sunita Dabhi and Sangitaben organized a picnic in Poicha for 50 SHG women. Stops included the Motamaharaj temple in Por village and the Mahadev temple in Karvan village. A donation was offered at the Naresvar temple, followed by an enjoyable dip in the Narmada river. They then took a boat to a temple in Kuber Bhandari. In the evening, they arrived at the final destination, Poicha, a beautiful location with a temple, where they spent time in prayer before returning to Pansora.
