Inauguration of the Central Bank tailoring course at Maria Bhawan, Bableshwar

On November 8, 2016, Maria Bhawan – Bableshwar hosted the inauguration of a Central Bank-sponsored tailoring course for women from the SHGs, conducted under the 'Gramin Svaya Rozghar Prashikshan' (Rural Self-employment Workshops) program. Mr. Shirsat, the outgoing Central Bank Manager, spoke highly of the institution and praised Sr. Catherine Pereira's efforts to help women develop themselves. He clearly explained the benefits of the tailoring classes and the importance of developing their talents to bring out their best potential and earn a livelihood. He added that the bank would provide follow-up support and loans to help the women achieve independence. We are grateful to Mr. Pause, the present Bank Manager, for his keen interest in facilitating these programs.
