The 8th annual general body meeting of AMRAT

The 8th Annual General Body Meeting of AMRAT was attended by Sr. Magdeline Sequiera and Sr. Rita Mascarenhas. The meeting commenced with a traditional welcome using 'Chandan and KumKum' and a welcome address by Sr. Sahaya FMM, President of AMRAT. His Excellency, Mar Jose, expressed appreciation for AMRAT's work in his inaugural speech, focusing on human trafficking issues and concluding with the message: 'Your strength and weapon is Jesus.' In her keynote address, Dr. Lizzy Jose outlined strategies to combat crimes committed against women and children. The purpose of the AMRAT Network is to foster collaboration, learning, capacity building, sharing, and networking. The new National and Regional Coordinators were then appointed. Sr. Rita Mascarenhas was appointed Vice-President of AMRAT. The meeting proved to be productive and enriching.
